Are they supposed to be rare? It seems like every other person in Silver league has one and they're so OP, it's basically an instant loss.

yes, the red dragon is a rare card. no more/less rare than any other rare card.
But i wouldn't call the red dragon OP. he's strong, but there are plenty of other set-ups that trounce dragon teams.

storm dragon + spell fork
fire sage + spell fork
beast tamer + mastadon
and sometimes a match will come down to how teams are positioned. if you lose to a red dragon with one set up, try moving your team around. practice in the lab and i'm sure you can find something that works :-)

heck, i went 31-0 with a red dragon team in my last league, and i've already got 4 losses in my new league. my last loss was to a Frenzy + Volcano team. Important to note, that Frenzy is a really strong sorcery to use against people using Uneasy Sleep. But frenzy is weak against teams using Heartiness. Spell fork was tops for a really long time, until people started countering with Uneasy Sleep.

I haven't come across any teams that have frenzy but if I do my Heartiness will come in handy, I'm going to try to get Sell fork and Uneasy Sleep asap. |
